HYBRID COMPOSITE PROCESS FOR THE MANUFACTURING OF COMPLEX PARTS
To transfer a hybrid composite process in industrial manufacturing of complex parts is a typical challenge that IRT Jules Verne (Nantes - France) likes to take up.
Simply because it matches with its fields of competences and its expertise about composites and proces automation.
The prototype which was developed is produced in a fully automatized process, including a composite structure integrating a metal insert and overmolded with two polymers, including TEFABLOC™ TPE.
This resulted from a partnership between companies established in Pays de la Loire Region, including MCPP France located in Tiffauges (85) and integrating the global competence center (R&D) of MCPP for TEFABLOC™ TPEs.
